How to suggest a site?
First search or browse the directory to find the single best category for your site. Go as deeply into the subtopics as is necessary. Click "add a link", fill out the form appropriately and wait to be reviewed by our editors. You're required to register before making your first submission.
What kinds of sites are qualified for China Directory?
Any site that contains contents about China and Chinese will have a chance to be listed, as long as the site meets our standards. There's no geographical limitation. China Directory is a English language directory, so basically site to be submitted should be in English. However, we do include sites in Chinese or in other languages which are of particular usefulness. Business category covers sites of China manufacturers, suppliers, and other commercial sites. Regional category lists sites from all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities. There's also an overseas Chinese category under this category. A site can be submitted to both business and regional categories if the content is qualified. The social category covers topics on society, culture, science, technology, arts, education, etc.
What kind of sites should not be submitted?
Sites with illegal content should not be submitted. We also do not list sites which are politically disputable. Do not submit mirror sites. Sites consisting largely of affiliate links will not be listed. Submission of pornographic sites is definitely no way. Do not submit any site with an address that redirects to another address. Do not submit sites "under construction." Auto-submission by software is prohibited
How to fill in the submission form?
Title of your site should be short and descriptive. Description of sites should be concise, accurate, objective without promotional language or sales hype. The description should be kept between 30-60 words, except for there's a need for longer or shorter description. Make sure the URL is accurate and that your spelling is correct.
Always keep in mind a well-written submission will make listing your site faster.
